I also have to agree with this point, which has been widely discussed in previous threads. The great speed of the Prime and the updated CAS, compared to the HP 50g, is diminished by the inability to select subexpressions, e.g. to rewrite some isolated trigonometric terms/factors, as mentioned. Splitting the whole expression by copying and pasting and regrouping later is a workaround, but you lose a lot of agility and the procedure is prone to errors when regrouping.
I hope the new team has this feature on their to-do list.
