I know you didn't state that RPN on the HP-35 was influenced by Forth, but just in case anyone might get that idea, I'd point out that Forth was developed:

* two years after the HP-9100
* seven years after the Friden EC-130
* 25 years after the Zuse Z4
* 29 years after the Zuse Z3

All of those used RPN, though not in exactly the same form as that of the HP-35.

Forth may have been influenced by expression evaluation algorithms developed by computer scientists in the 1950s and 1960s.
