In ground school in the early 70's I wanted to buy one of these, but my instructor (rather strongly) suggested I get a full-sized model instead as wind calculations (on the back) are much harder to make out in flight due it's smaller size. I long regretted it, but he was no doubt right about it. I've considered getting one in later years, just because, but held out each time. And now this discussion comes along...
