ONYX Boox Palma e-ink w/ Plus42...

Reading this thread makes me wonder: Can I use my Amazon Fire HD 8 (8th generation) running Fire OS 5.6.8.0 to run emulators such as Plus42?

Are there ways to download emulators such as Free42/Plus42 other than from Google Play?

I can login to Google Play with this Fire HD 8, but I can't seem to get Google to add this device to my Google account in order to download to it. I've read that it can't be done, but then I see some of you stating you are using a Fire 7... and wonder if this device will also work?

Maybe you could point me to a webpage tutorial that will explain how I can do it?
