41CV serial numbers

The Collector's Corner here suggests that the earliest 41CV serial number might be around 2040. I just acquired one with serial number 2025A00136, thinking that I would convert it to a CL. Just wondering if I should keep it stock, given that it's a low serial number. It does have some kind of problem: pressing ALPHA sometimes turns the machine off or sets the annunciator without clearing the display.
