Both versions are very cool! As for using Graph3D to do complex plots...
Graph3D can be modified very easily to do 3D complex plots. The main question is what schemes are people most interested in. For example, one might be to use the x-axis and y-axis for the input z=x+yi and z-axis for Re(f(z)) while the color of the point is defined (in some way) by Im(f(z)). Another option may be to toggle between showing Re(f(z)) and Im(f(z)) on the z-axis. As already suggested, defining V1 as f(z), V2 as Re(f(z)) and V3 as Im(f(z)) and plotting only V2 and V3 simultaneously would be a quick way to do this. Are there other schemes that are more preferrable/common? Are there any advantages to using 3D complex graphs? Graph 3D | QPI | SolveSys |
