P.S.: I'm not saying this will be ready today. Right now, we've got a minor discussion about what's going on on the 8-level stack when "advanced commands" like f'(x), SLV, etc. are executed. I want to have this settled before distributing pdfs.

If I can view/search the manual from my Debian Wheezy Linux system, then I would definitely pay the $9.00 for a quicker access manual. But if it WON'T work on my Linux system, then it's of no value to me. Can anyone confirm that the Linux PDF utilities will be able to view/search through the locked PDF?
