For all practical purposes the coin cell approach was (and is) very cool. I'm not really having any difficulty with power on my WP34s units. The one exception is 'extreme' programming where long periods of time are spent looping through some iterative calculation that takes more than a few minutes to complete. Then, its better to have a docking station which supplies the 3 volts with ample mAHs <sorry for the pun> I'm not sure I buy the battery analysis though.
