You're invoking the computer algebra system. Sadly HP didn't find it profitable to include a printed manual but there should be documentation on the CD and HP's web site. The 50G is a very powerful instrument but being a massive superset of the 48 series it will require some getting used to. I would consider getting a package called HLP49 at the very least - it's an online function reference and help system for the 49/50 series. There is also a fellow on this board who has made some printed 50G manuals, who may or may not make another run but it wouldn't hurt to post to that thread. |
