This is the surface mount 4093 prior to be installed inside the machine:



In order to save space I have used a 1/8 W resistor, a multilayer ceramic capacitor and wire-wrapping wire..

This is once installed. It is held in place by means of two sided adhesive tape (if it works for the buzzer, it will also work here):
