Much more importantly, that's not actually a fish, it's a submarine, manned by the evil and dangerous Aquaphibians that lived under the sea, a constant threat to the World Aquanaut Security Patrol (WASP), of which Stingray was the flagship. These subs appeared in many episodes, and they seemed to almost always chase Stingray up and out of the water, thus re-using that scene many times; surely satisfying for the special effects guys.
