HP41CV with transitional internal design

Not transitional.

That was a 'nut' machine with the small threaded nuts. It however, has been back to HP for repair work and the nuts have been replaced with the plastic 'o' rings.

This is because the nuts are a one use mechanism. They self tap on, but a second attempt after being removed usually ended in a stripped screw post. Thus the o-rings were used if the nuts failed to hold the board in place after repair.
