On OSX 10.11.1 I'm getting:

$python3 setup.py install --user
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "setup.py", line 1, in <module>
from setuptools import setup, find_packages # Always prefer setuptools over distutils
ImportError: No module named 'setuptools'
