RE: Got a HP-41CV Half Nut as a early Christmas gift!
Again, Thank you all for the so many suggestions on what we can do with this great machine.
The Clonix NoV sounds very interesting, but I have yet to see how much will it cost as I couldn't find any prices on Diego's site. Did I mention that the buzzer can make very nice clean sounds? I wonder why the newest HP Prime was not equipped with similar feature, despite having provision to connect one buzzer on the main PCA. And time to a partial tear down. When removing the four rubber feet to undo the four screws, I could confirm its original condition. The machine was never opened before. Somehow this half nut version is a little disappointing at the component count. I guess the ownership satisfaction will be greater on the full nuts Main active components: 5061-7255 Hybrid Memory/Display Driver from 1985 week 50 <-- Corrected after Walter's observation.
