I generally concur with Dieter's comments, however is there evidence that changing between DEG/RAD/GRAD occurs frequently enough for a lot of users to warrant using valuable shifted keys (vs. in a menu such as X.FCN). To me, it does not seem to be a frequent setting, I think most users change this rarely. Especially true for GRAD.
