Great success. I stuck a straight 6-pin header on there, then carefully bent the pins to a right angle. Then I used the Dremel to remove that portion of the top spacer that blocks the serial pins.
Now I just need to find a small connector that will go on those pins easy enough, and solder a 9-pin serial connector on the other end. Time to dig through my parts boxes. Do you think the CR2032 will supply enough power for flashing the firmware, or do I need to power it through the 5V pin? |
