OK, I did not really want this to degenerate into an argument about the prevalence of languages.
However you continue to list incomplete information.
What about the UK and Australia? Not to mention Spain and Portugal?

Let me put another perspective on it:
List of countries where English is an official language
List of countries where Spanish is an official language
List of countries where Portuguese is an official language

The English list far exceeds that of other languages - this is not about native English speakers but what is the most common language that people can communicate in.

We may not like it, but that is how it is.
