The PC simulator was updated to match the latest firmware. You can download the Windows installer here:

Sorry, no fancy keyboard image yet, but it can save/restore sessions, and can mount SD card images. On Windows, you can use the free software:

which I don't particularly endorse, but it makes it easy to create and mount an image, format it on the PC, copy some files on it, then leave it there for newRPL simulator to use.
On Linux/BSD/Mac just use 'dd' to get an image of an actual card.
