Very good, thanks for clarifying Dieter. I was afraid I was missing something so basic that I almost didn't post my question. Valentin has pointed out that the SR-56 is clearly superior, not only with more available steps, but also with more flexible program capabilities such as GSB, DSZ, etc. however I've found that my mind no longer works in an AOS way, so even though it's measurably better, it would not be better for me.
