All the points you make are good ones, and I must confess that I do not understand the TICKS function in the 50g. For example, sometimes TICKS goes BACKWARDS in the 50g, which of course is something that it should never do. To see this, perform 8 TICKS in immediate succession, put them in a list, and perform a DeltaLIST. << TICKS TICKS TICKS TICKS TICKS TICKS TICKS TICKS 8 ->LIST DeltaLIST >>. Most of the time you'll get small differences around #40h ticks, as expected. But once in a while you'll get a HUGE difference because TICKS jumped BACKWARDS for a moment. It's rare enough that the only way you'll see it happen is to write a loop and test for it. Very strange. Is this bug related to the unreliable alarm bug and the (alleged) irregular auto-turn-on issue? I have no idea.
