Yes, I found there is the "FreeBASIC". There is also available the SOURCE code. That sounds good.
I have not enough knowledge to go on "FreeBASIC for HP."

and there is also the "X11-Basic" that runs in almost every platform, including Android (it runs very well on my ARM-Cortex-´Droid), even it runs on a TomTom Car Navigator System! (But not on a Hp 50g )
