How to get to a catalog name quickly

I think I have an answer for this already....you don't need to type the alpha key first....when I do that, it seems to work reliably so far....I'll use this for a while and report if it works reliably.
I did a search in google and found an article where it describes this.
Here is the document I found. Note it's a useful document to read in it's own right. Has quite a few tips if your not intimate with the calculator yet...you might learn something from this.
