That makes sense, given your stated objectives. I was afraid you were thinking that the scoring should have been simplified to only code size, which I believe would have made this contest a lot less interesting.

Thanks for putting the extra effort into coming up with great contests, Gene! And I hope the changes in format this year were welcomed by all -- it seems like giving folks more time to work on them made it better for the attendees.
