In particular what do you want to achieve (not only what do you do, but what is your objective) that does not work?

(in short: if a magnet link does not work, neither will a ".torrent". A ".torrent" is a file with more metadata but nothing more that will help reaching a torrent, end of the story)

Then with your preferred torrent client just add the magnet link (normally is "add torrent link", "magnet" is not mentioned, normally it is called "link") and that's it, you just need to wait.
