Is there an automatic user deletion process active in this forum?

I suppose space, speed, clutter. Perhaps a smaller attack surface for spammers/hackers trying to take over old-established accounts that are no longer being maintained/monitored by their creators?

But the results I got were more like how to prune users or why is user pruning not working as I expect. I did find one thread that was really about "why". Oddly enough, some of the reasons against pruning were for having higher stats for sales/advertising purposes and having a bigger user base that you can send "marketing emails" to.

I'm not sure what to make of that stat. If we don't prune, then in a few years it could be 80%. If we do prune, then it might be 40%. I don't know which is "better".
