A little help from another perspective?

1² = 01 = 1
2² = 04 = 1 + 3
3² = 09 = 1 + 3 + 5
4² = 16 = 1 + 3 + 5 +7
5² = 25 = 1 + 3 + 5 +7 + 9
6² = 36 = 1 + 3 + 5 +7 + 9 + 11
7² = 49 = 1 + 3 + 5 +7 + 9 + 11 + 13
8² = 64 = 1 + 3 + 5 +7 + 9 + 11 + 13 + 15
9² = 81 = 1 + 3 + 5 +7 + 9 + 11 + 13 + 15 + 17
etc.
