RE: CMT MC-II 8088 CMOS System
Hello Bill,

This device is using a modified version of MS-DOS for its OS.

(05-06-2018 06:49 PM)Bill (Smithville NJ) Wrote:  There are a bunch of ".S" filenames (41M.S, OFF.S,KEYBEEP.S, TIME.S, DATE.S, MODE.S, etc), then KERMIT.X, MCED.X, CMD.X, CMT-ROSS.
.S are script files (similar to .BAT) and .X are executable files (like .exe)

(05-06-2018 06:49 PM)Bill (Smithville NJ) Wrote:  Then it says Bytes Free - 16016. Which seems odd, since there are supposedly four 128KB modules installed.
That is the free space left in the MC-ROS 128KB EPROM module

I have made available for a limited time this file: CMT-MCII-Documents.zip

It contains these files:
  • CMT-MC MC-II OM.pdf
  • CMT-MC ROSII Commands.pdf
  • CMT-MC Bar Code UM.pdf
  • CMT-Kermit-Users-Guide_Letter.pdf
  • CMT-HandHeld-Solutions-Vol-I.pdf
  • CMT-HandHeld-Solutions-Vol-II.pdf
  • CMT-HandHeld-Solutions-Vol-III.pdf
Unfortunately, I do not have the 41M manual.

To leave the 41M environment type: [XEQ] [ALPHA] [S] [Y] [S] [T] [E] [M] [ALPHA]
FYI, in the 41M environment: [XEQ] is on the [K] key and [ALPHA] is on the [up arrow] key

Sylvain

edit: URL for zip file has been reactivated.
