Also, note that we use 16bit per character encoding and currently have no plans to support any characters higher then that. So you can stop at #FFFE...
I'm a bit curious what is wrong or missing from the existing character browser? What are you trying to accomplish that isn't done there? I'm the one primarily responsible for the unicode stuff in general, so I'm the one that may be able to provide more details in specific areas.
