"     The CORDIC (Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer) algorithm, computes certain functions such as the sine, cosine, and √(x² + y²) using only additions and bit shifting operations.
     We have implemented an integer math CORDIC algorithm on a high speed RISC processor. During the course of this work, we identified a convergence problem with the √(x² + y²) CORDIC.  A solution to this problem is presented along with an overview of this algorithm. "
