I just opened the calculator and found half plastic idler gear loose inside. As a result of this the motor spins freely when the calculator is powered on. Please see attached pic and video below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsv8N7GFpEg I have ordered the metal brass gear form Germany (3 pieces just in case I mess up with the drilling) and will be posting updates soon. Also the O-rings for rebuilding the card reader have already been ordered. The adventure continues!!! |
