Now that this is solved, I also don’t understand why dfc(sqrt(2),5) returns [1,2,[2]] and dfc(sqrt(2)) returns [1,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2].
Why both don’t return [1,2,[2]] ?
