This is one of the great all-time unanswered questions, up there with 'what is dark matter?' and 'where does dark energy come from?'. Speculation is that they don't carry it there at the request of some of their larger resellers, but that's just guessing.

The "#???" is a region code for the root product model. These 2 codes are described in this post: https://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/thread-15386.html.

Note: Even if you don't care about the items in the pkg, where the warranty is from does matter, if you need to have HP service the device. For example, if you live in USA and your product does not end with "#ABA", it is considered 'grey market' and HP US will not provide warranty service for it if needed.

If buying the right product for where you live costs a few dollers more, IMHO it's worth it, even though the odds of needing service are indeed low.

I'd say $139.99 is a good price. The price for new Prime devices from reliable vendors really doesn't vary much. You may find a better price on eBay, but they are usually not authorized so your warranty again may be a problem.
