Swiss Micro DM12 users

I bought a 2nd hand 12C that was only €40, 1/3 of the price of a DM12L. Only thing was that the original owner had let his name engraved in the metal next to the display, but besides that it looked nearly new. I didn't have to search very long for it.

Because the 12C is still in production I don't really see the business case of a DM12L for its current price, when I order a brand new new HP12C I pay half the price of a DM12L: https://www.amazon.com/HP-HP12C-12C-Fina...B00000JBLH . Maybe for SM collectors? But then, I would expect it to sell even less than the (limited edition) DM10L.
