On the MathPrint, In table, one can put define f(x) in choice #1, dx(f(x)) in choice #2 as g(x). By generating a table, it is easy to find where g(x) changes sign implying an extremum. By going to numsolve, by solving for g(x)=0, the x value can be found of the extremum. By quitting, bringing up the Home Screen, entering x will enter the x value of the extremum. Going to table, pressing choice 2, quitting/returning to the Home Screen, we have f( now press x)…this makes it f(x). Enter, and you will have the f(x) value of the extremum. Hope this makes sense!
