why don't emulators such as the DM41X and V41 display the synthetic geese?
I've recently noticed that a number of emulators do not correctly display the geese (forwards or backwards) when using synthetic programming (eg page 80, Flying the Goose Backwards, from the book Synthetic Programming on the HP-41C by Wickes).

I assume the emulators are running the original 41c ROMs so is this due to a special/corner case that is not handled in the hardware emulation?
