That was my experience with DC100 tapes as well I bought ten of them, most where damaged by the oxide binding to the base on top of it so as soon as the tape moved it tore some of the oxide off. The other thing that went wrong with them is the drive band in them was rotten. However if you really want tapes, and I may be there soon as I am getting a 9835A, Athana can rebuild them Bring new life to your HP-98200 Data Cartridges!
