Thanks Dave. I'll get Hyperterminal off my old XP machine and give it a try (It's a GX). Can you point me to any resources that will help get me started with Kermit or XMODEM? I'm a little slow when it comes to communications.

I think my XP computer is going to give up the ghost pretty soon. That's why I'm trying to get it to work with Win8.
