Register arithmetic and indirection are user manual basics, but the indexing notation (3) confused me. To answer Gene's question (citation should have been given) the page number in question was page 35 of 198, SandMath_44 revision "Q." I'm working my way through the manual and I'm quite amazed at what the module can do. I've seen other instructions I wasn't able to reproduce, including one recently in a fractions program in the old HP41 code archive. I'll have to dig that up and post it. I guess I was hoping, as the article title suggests, that there might be a good intro article or list of suggested reading for those new to 41 programming. No shortcuts to success though!
