HP 82143A / HP 82162A foto coupler (encoder) - substitute

After having it sit in the corner quite a longer time I again thought about the problems descibed before. Printing is fine but alpha lines cause the print head to stay in the left hand wall ...
So: How can I manage to print a little more more right hand sided to get the line terminated earlier? Hehe: Just bent the home switch a little bit outwards so the contact is released later when print head is running back. SUCCESS!

So everybody knows: Honeywell HOA 1405-2 is a good substitute.
Be aware: The photo diode of the original OPB2607 is the upper connections when mounted and you can read the type printed on it. Honeywell must be turned 180 degree - type printed not visible when mounted.
