Another useful routine could be LPROD in analogy with LSUM. A single element list should yield its element and an empty list should return 1. There are a couple of other end-cases that are of interest: an scalar numeric value could be treated as a single-element list and an empty stack could be interpreted as an empty list.
There is an extension that comes to mind. Treat a one-dimensional array as a list. This would help in writing some linear algebra programs. Of course, a list of matrices or a matrix of lists can be left to the future. |
