HP 9114B questions
Just got my hands on this drive, and would like to get it working. It looks almost new, but I'm sure the battery is dead, and the only charger I have is HP 82059B. Here are my questions:
1. Is that the right charger? I've only been able to find a manual for the 9114A on the web, and it does list that model as compatible. 2. I've seen some posts about using a 6V 2A+ charger directly without the battery, any issues with that? I have a Radio Shack 2.5A adjustable one that should work. I've ordered a replacement battery but I want to play with it... And yes, I do have a pil-box, this is just something for fun! |
