It looks like it's the earlier serial numbers that carry this indication. They also have one less digit in them.

Keep in mind the 50g was sold 2006-2015, and the initial digit of the SN is the last digit of the year, so that puts your units into the following order, oldest to newest:

CNA7330xxxx, NO (2007)
CNA9420xxxx, NO (2009)
CNA2240xxx, YES (2012)
CNA2290xxx, YES (2012)
CNA4471xxx, YES (2014)
CNA4471xxx, YES (2014)

which is consistent with units above, and implies newer units have the 49g+ stamp. Also, the '0' and '1' characters (in the 7th place of the sn) are part of the unit number.

I believe the units with 5 digits for unit # included only numbers, whereas those with only 4 places included numbers and letters.
