RE: circa 1980 Casio with clock, similar to fx-8100
My Casio ML-81 has been my morning alarm clock since I was given it in 1981, replacing my Toshiba LC-854WA. Still works great, though the vinyl folding cover failed and was lost many years ago. The keyboard and dedicated buttons make setting an alarm time easier than any other alarm I've ever used. It's thin enough to stay under my pillow where it's alarm is enough for me without waking anyone else. And you can change an alarm to any desired time by feel in the dark.
Back then, the credit card calculators from Casio and many others were very appealing. Friends and I were on the lookout for one with what you ask - scientific functions, time and alarms. I never did find any that did all that. |
