No, it was an original article written by me from my own experience with the CGP-115, I had no access to PPC-US articles at the time.

Main points of my article regarding the hardware interfacing:
- a llitlle bit of electronic is needed to make the CGP-115 work with the HP82166 due to an incompatibility in the STROBE signal. I proposed 2 solutions.
- the HP82166 can be powered directly from the CGP-115.
