shouldn't be. I seem to recall several decent ones for the 48 series that could actually handle fairly complex circuits and components AND was pretty accurate. (Analog & digital.)

I started on my own before I found those, probably from comp.sys.hp48. IIRC I had the digital one all finished up but hadn't gotten around to nice timing graphs.(these were pretty large programs, and mine at least I sat there and plugged away at it right on the 48sx rather than being smart and using a desktop text editor, but it passed some boring killing time points in some days... mine was all userRPL not sure about the one that I picked up, might've been a library...)

That said they might consider something like SPICE on the Prime to be too simple, might be better to use the prime to maybe control something(can it do USB hosting? killer robot of doom comes to mind...)
