Not my taste either! But it is nothing in comparison to Grapevine's mind-bogglingly stupid policy of notating key stroke sequences. In an attempt to over-simplify everything, they have succeeded in systematically penalizing those who actually understand the lessons.

I mean, anyone who needs that kind of instructions on page 294 (!) of a rather elementary book should seriously consider selling his HP-48 and doing something else with his life.

That being said, there are a number of Grapevine publications I wouldn't want to miss (like Ray Depew's excellent "HP-48 Graphics" or the two calculus related books by Dan Coffin) and I am very grateful to Dave Britten for the work he's done.
