TL;DR - Unplug the serial cable from the PC first, and then you can unplug it from the CL without resetting the MMU. A common conclusion is it's easier to type XEQ "MMUEN" than trace the cord and unplug it from the PC... Smile

thanks Bob; I tried to say that this is what I always do, but clearly I did a bad job of explaining, sorry.

anyway yes, I was aware of that, and always do that, but still get the MMU disabled.
