You should save your money and don't buy super-duper 4k monitors. I'm still using normal HD monitors with 24'' or 27'' width, then the "Large" selection is big enough also for my "old" eyes.

But back to the topic. I made some tests with larger background images, the current limitation is the annunciator font and in parts the non-true type segment font. Actual I made and implemented a background image with a size of 424x777 pixel, which is about 35% larger than the "Large" picture with 311x575 pixel size.

We cannot buy super duper monitors. We spend all our money on calculators. That is why we like your free software so much!

The 35% size incease would already make a huge difference, so it would be really great if that could be implemented. And the problem is actually on my 13" laptop screen ...
