Well, you can paste an equation, PARSE it, and EVALuate it, and when you then switch to PRGM mode, you'll see the generated code. And you can copy or PRP that code and use it elsewhere, should you wish.

You probably won't wish to do that, because it won't be an HP-42S-compatible program. The code generated by the Plus42 equation parser relies heavily on the big stack, and a bunch of other functions I added specifically to make it easier to generate user code.

Generating code that runs on a vanilla 42S would be an interesting challenge, but not one that I think I'm going to be tackling any time soon!
