In July of 1977, HP introduced the HP-92 Desktop Financial Calculator, see here:

This did not follow the 12C, it actually preceded it by more than 4 years. And although the HP-70, -80, -22 and -27 Financial models appeared before this, the 92 had an improved solver and I believe was the first financial model to include depreciation by various models.

Pretty scarce these days, but they do appear on eBay, etc. from time to time, though never cheap.
